_{DIVISIONALS ARE COMING! STROKE SELECTION DUE JULY 23rd}

_{Saturday, July 29th is the final event for most of us — our Divisional meet! Divisionals is an individual meet in which the top two swimmers in each event, from each pool, in the division compete for 1st through 12th place. We always have absences from our team and other teams, so if you are interested in swimming, please specify your swim preference. It is not guaranteed that you will swim, but we will try our hardest to get as many swimmers in the meet as possible.} 

This is a non-competitive event open to any swimmers 8 years and under who have not placed 1, 2, 3 in an A-Meet. The event is intended to be a developmental meet to help our younger swimmers get ready for the next level.

Next up, we're hosting Annandale. 

“B” meets are developmental meets generally scheduled for Monday evenings. Our “B” meet league consists of pools from the Woodson Pyramid. Swimmers select their Monday Night “B” Meet events at practice on Mondays. Therefore, if you cannot attend practice on Monday and want to swim Monday night, it is important that you e-mail the B team rep before NOON the Monday of the B meet with your choices.

We encourage every swimmer on the team to attend B meets (even Super Serpents!). The Monday Night “B” meet results are used to plan the Saturday “A” meets. Swimmers can “bump” other swimmers from a Saturday event by recording a faster time on the Monday prior to the Saturday “A” meet. This ensures that as swimmers improve and their abilities change, the team is well represented on Saturday. There are no relay events.
