Fri Jul 16 2021	Kick off to the Summer Olympics Pep Rally Canterbury Woods Pool Start: 6:00 PM End: 7:30 PM This week's theme is Kick off to the Summer Olympics – come dressed up and ready to cheer! Activities include: torch craft, make pretend medal necklace, and Coaches will take the "name that C-Serpent" quiz....careful, too many wrong answers by a Coach sends them off the diving board! This is a FUN game and a great way to end our Pep Rally season!
Thu Jul 15 2021	Super Serpent photos CWST Start: 8:00 AM End: 9:00 AM (estimated) We need all SS there at 8 AM for individual and sibling photos; then we will take the SS Team photo at 8:30 AM. IF your SS has a Team Suit, please wear it - otherwise, any suit will work. Swimmers need to be accompanied by an adult - adults will facilitate getting their swimmers to the actual photo area and will inform the photographer if their swimmers will have individual and/or sibling photos (sibling photos are all of your swimmers in one photo). Regular Swim Team will have practice this day and SS can stay and attend the 9-10AM practice after photos. How to order photos -- our photographer (Allison McSorley) has created a 100% online system for ordering photos/magnets/etc. We will email everyone a link to the gallery and will provide more information on ordering at that time.
Wed Jul 14 2021	Swim Team Photos CWST Start: 7:00 AM End: 8:30 AM (estimated) Swimmers must be there at 7AM because we are doing the Team picture FIRST - then individual and sibling photos. Swimmers should be in their team suit for the photo. Swimmers ages 12 & Under need to be accompanied by an adult - adults will facilitate getting their swimmers to the photo area and will inform the photographer if their swimmers will have individual and/or sibling photos (sibling photos are all of your swimmers in one photo). IF you have regular team swimmers AND a sibling that is on Super Serpents, you should bring your SS on Wednesday IF you want a sibling photo. We have a LARGE team this year and we need parents to assist in getting through all the photos in one morning. We will not have practices this morning.
Tue Jul 13 2021	Super Serpent Banquet CWST Start: 6:00 PM End: 7:00 PM This is the end of year celebration for the Super Serpents! Coaches have made paper plate awards (a CWST tradition) and give them to each swimmer with a fun explanation! We will have ice cream bars, chips, and juice to celebrate (all will be individually packaged). **The last day of practice for Super Serpents will be Friday, July 23rd.
Tue Jul 13 2021	Lollipop Meet @ Long Branch 9100 Burnetta Drive Annandale, VA 22003 Start: 9:00 AM Warm-up: 8:00 AM End: 10:30 AM (estimated) This Swim meet is only for Super Serpents and 8 and under developmental group, if the 8 and under swam an A Meet, the swimmer is not eligible for this meet.
Mon Jul 12 2021	CW @ Rutherford 4609 Marley Rd Fairfax, VA 22032 Start: 6:00 PM Warm-up: 5:00 PM End: 9:30 PM (estimated) The last B meet! Declare the strokes to swim - sign up deadline is Sunday, July 11 @ 9PM. We are not allowing late signups or walk-ups at the B meets any longer. We encourage every swimmer on the team to attend B meets (even Super Serpents!). The Monday Night “B” meet results are used to plan the Saturday “A” meets. Swimmers can “bump” other swimmers from a Saturday event by recording a faster time on the Monday prior to the Saturday “A” meet. This ensures that as swimmers improve and their abilities change, the team is well represented on Saturday. There are no relay events. CW@RFD Results
