Please RSVP to have your 8 & Under Assessments. All swimmers 8 & Under who are registered for the regular team (or would like to be considered for placement on the regular team) will be assessed to confirm that they are appropriately placed on regular team. Assessments will take place on Tuesday, May 30th at 5 pm. If your swimmer swam on the CW regular team last summer, they do not need to be assessed. Your young swimmer is ready for the Swim team when he/she meets the following criteria:

• Must be between the ages of 5 and 8 years old.
• Must be willing to leave their parent or guardian to join the group in the pool independently. It is very important that the Super-Serpents are willing to transition easily.
• Must be comfortable in the water and able to fully immerse their face, underwater.
• Must be able to submerge under water and kick or pull themselves, unassisted and without touching the bottom.
• Must be able to self propelled across the deep well.
• Must wear swim goggles and hair pulled back out of the face.

If your child cannot do all of these tasks, or is a brand-new swimmer, please register for the Developmental program - Super Serpents. This will ensure that all of our young swimmers and instructors have a safe and happy swim season.

* The Head Coach will determine eligibility, and will place the swimmer according their ability in developmental program or the Swim Team.
